The Wicomico Environmental Trust sponsors Rooms for the Environment, providing lodging for Salisbury University's Seagull Century riders in local homes.
It has proven to be a rewarding program for cyclists and hosts alike, often resulting in lasting friendships. If you have taken part in the program before, thanks and welcome back! If you are new, please consider joining us this year. In either case, below are the links to register as a host or cyclist. We look forward to seeing you in October!
Fees
$150/night for a single
$180/night for two sharing a room
Fees go to support WET's environmental programs.
Sea Gull Century
Sea Gull Century is a nationally acclaimed bicycling event, beginning and ending on the campus of Salisbury University.
The bike tour is set for Saturday, October 3, 2026. Registration is open!
Cyclists will depart campus for two optional routes, 63 miles or 100 miles, across the Lower Eastern Shore.
The event is organized by The SU Foundation, Inc., a non-profit benefiting SU students and our local community.
